Coming Clean -- Luxuriously -- at Soap&Water Reception

A window poster of the Nomaterra founders

Honoring and welcoming Aggie and Ben Burnett, young founders of Nomaterra fragrances  (which Soap&Water will carry exclusively in Newport) owners Will DeYoung and Michael Evangelisti welcomed tout Newport to a champagne reception at the Bowen's Wharf shop. Literally hundreds of guests wandered the luxurious shop on a sunny afternoon.

Nomaterra, from the Latin meaning (loosely translated) "name the earth", is a collection of travel-inspired fragrances named for the world's cities, capturing the unique aura of each in named fragrances. The couple are jet-setters, and bring the world to their collection, and now to Newport, for which they are developing a scent-sational City-by-the-Sea fragrance.

Gorgeous soaps!

Martha Stewart Magazine named NomaTerra's "Savannah" the best bridal fragrance.  It will be available at Soap&Water, along with Cape Cod, New Orleans, East Hampton and Miami.

On hand was Kathleen Vanderveer, speaking to guests about Jack Black, the #1 men's skincare line in the US, organic, allergenic free and vegan -- so 21st century!-- and an exclusive with SOAP&WATER in Newport.  Nancy Streets of "Party Easers" served finger sandwiches and poured champagne. The gracious hosts mingled and helped guests, Michael ringing up stellar sales as the Burnetts charmed, and perfumed, happy customers.
